Root Zone Soil Remediation

H&H Arborists is dedicated to the health of your trees. One very important part of your trees' health is the soil in which it’s growing.

Root Zone Soil Remediation is used to bring health and vigor back to all your trees.  The foundation of any trees health is the soil and root system. Too many times, insects and diseases are blamed for the premature death of trees.  In reality, they were invited and took advantage of an already weak tree.

Often, your trees' soil and its microbiology in which it grows in can be compromised. This can lead to a slow and sometimes certain death that could have been prevented.  Poor soil is:

  • sterile of microbiology (beneficial fungi, bacteria, and arthropods)
  • compacted or void of oxygenating pore spaces
  • overloaded with high salt fertilizers, etc.

The process of remediation the poor soil requires several steps. First, soil must be aerated, second, soil must be amended with “Certified” compost (bringing the essential micro life back), and lastly, soil must be protected at its surface to ensure future health.
